Secure section – Extranet
In order to access a secure section of the extranet site, you must have an access code and a password. In addition to the above regarding the password, the extranet contains its own procedure for granting a user code and password to navigate this section of the site.
Electronic messaging via the Internet
Any unprotected e-mail transmitted over the Internet is subject to possible interception or loss, and is also subject to possible alteration. PPTA will not be liable to you or anyone else for any damages resulting from the interception, loss or alteration of any e-mail you transmit to PPTA or any such message PPTA transmits to you.
In the case of the extranet for PPTA Financial Services’ partner advisors, a web-based e-mail is integrated into the secure site. Please note that any communication via this e-mail bears an identification of belonging to the network and must be written, whether it is intended for internal or external use, in compliance with the requirements of the laws and regulations governing directly or indirectly the distribution of financial products and services and the protection of personal information, including, in particular, the rules enacted with respect to ethics and the exercise of the activities of representatives. As such, you agree not to use the electronic messaging system made available to you for illegal or reprehensible activities, including but not limited to the sending of unsolicited mass e-mail (spamming), criticism or defamation, invasion of privacy, chain letters, pyramid schemes, etc.
Control of the use
A log is maintained to record events related to security or that are of interest for audit or statistical purposes.
